I have to work tonight (fri night) but I do good all day most of the time on weekends. I get home here about 7:30. A while get cleaned up and off again possibly hit the Chester Bridge/Perryvile area about 9:00. I am looking about getting there between 10:00 am - 11:00 am (estemating on 10:30) I might try my hand at camping at Taum Sauk Mtn, just to have a full day of activities for Sun. Not sure yet. I finally got an answer to my map confusion. It was confusion of Old 21 vs New 21(used to be granitesville Road). The big confusion was trying to track a loop to Iron Mountain, I assumed I was on Old 21 then assuming turned on route U, and made a right turn on the 'V',which I assumed was a unmarked road. It is a coincidence that there is a very similar 'V' joining Old 21 and route U, which I did not know. When I came back to Granitesville expecting to come out at Iron Mountain, that really did a big Trip up job on my mind. I was thinking about time warps and Star Trek sort of stuff after that. But that map Strider emailed me really helped. I will get a Image of a map and traced my Estemated Route Vs. Driven route to get you a better understanding of how it can easily play with your mind. Just give a meeting time. LuAnn Joe Taylor <rockey_f_squirrell@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: I am planning on taking on Buford Mountain this next weekend. I wanted to save it for my 100th cache, but as I am planningother stuff comming up, I would like my 100th cache to be a Backpack trip along the Ozark Trail. Buford Mountain has been on my list for a long time, and I finally want to get out and do it. I am wondering if anyone would like to come along that has had this on thier list to do as well. My friend who does most of my geocaching with me is not physically fit enough. Other people I know just thinks geocaching is a dumb idea to waste gas and time on (they are mainly the bar bums who sit and waste thier paycheck on alchohol - just to get sick over and over again - I LOVE GEOCACHING) Buford Mountain is described as a Long and tougher hike. a 3 mile trip with the first mile a 9-10% grade, then it gets easier after that, but does have a trail. The view at the top is to be one of the best views in the state. It is a single cache up there, and a lot of work to get it, but those are my favorite kinds (that is why I have such low numbers). If I dont get any responses, I will save this for another time, but I am getting better at caching solo, but as I always tell my friend, "Many times it takes, it takes two minds to accomplish something" Joe Taylor ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN (Good for anytime of the Year) Rockey the Flying Squirrell __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
