I am going to be tied up the rest of the night looking at your photos.
Looks like a lot of fun, something we may have to do sometime.
I've been on the South Kaibob Trail a few years ago, went almost 1/2 way
down.
Yeah, we'll definitely have to go there again sometime soon.
I've heard crazy stories about people doing the rim to rim straight through
and
even some folks going rim to rim to rim ! Isn't there some older guy, in his
70's I think, that does this ?

Recently I celebrated one of those big birthdays, and decided that if I was
ever going to complete some of my bucket list items, I better get on the
move.So last weekend I hiked from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to
Phantom Ranch and back out the next day. Six and one half miles down, 4600
ft. elevation change. Ten and one miles back up - ALL uphill.It was an
awesome trip. Great weather. Beautiful views. Highly recommended (just do
it before you get old like me).Here are few photos to view.
