Mike, It looks like you have everything covered for B2K. Do we want to setup a
B2K event cache for the big day? I hate to mention this but is there a "plan B"
for inclement weather, like a 12" snow or ice storm?

Rangers at the Houston Office said Roby Lake is wide open for us. There are
no developed sites so camping is OK. There is NO WATER. You will have to filter
from the creek or lake, hopefully it's not frozen, or pack/drive it in. No more
than 10 per group on the trail if you are camping on the trail. I think that we
will setup camp back at the Roby Lake trailhead.

Bridget and myself will be camping down there Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Everyone is welcome to camp even if you are not hiking to Pioneer. We will be
setting up the usual car camp - 10x20 fly, large tent, tables, chairs, fire
pit, etc... It will be cozy..

The route to Pioneer is 2.5 miles each way, perhaps a little less. There is a
loop that will give you a good 10.5 mile hike. I will be doing this one on
Saturday or Sunday.

I have the trail map as a .loc file if you would like it. You can get it from
me via email. Just send me an email at griff@xxxxxxxxxxxx
I will shoot it to you. It is small and has the loop on it along with the
cache.

Bruce? You will be at 1999?? Right??? You need some placed before then I am
sure RGS can put some out.. :)

Barbara, do we want an event on the calendar?
