- I know exactly what you speak of. I have bought and used a couple of those myself. They really work well for caching and are easily painted if desired. -Michael ________________________________ From: Dave <deltabravoromeo@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: geocaching freelist <geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Fri, January 8, 2010 9:19:19 AM Subject: [GeoStL] Bison tube -- sorta - FYI -- While on one of life's many trips to Wal-Mart, I stumbled on what looks like an acceptable alternative to the usual bison tubes that everyone finds in use. In the Pharmacy area, tucked in with the hearing aid batteries, thermometers, blood pressure monitors, and other pill boxes and containers, I found the "EZY DOSE Pill Fob Keychain". Looks amazingly like a shiny aluminum fat Bison tube and comes with an O-ring seal. For a couple of bucks, it's a handy replacement (emergency or otherwise...) for standard fare. Only drawbacks that I see: no choices on size and color... Dave R.
