The parade of animals cache was never actually approved because of their
temporary nature. Markwell in Chicago was the one that posted it. He had a
different rule on this one... you could only post notes and no I found it
logs. He was going to delete any found it logs. He feels these are nice
places to visit but should not be counted.

There's nothing I like better than seeing a locationless cache in ARCHIVED status! (If you don't know what a locationless cache is, just ask). It's good to know that noone will be able to count these 'caches' as finds; a certain model of a Corvette, an animal parade, a game shop or a stadium seat.
Below are links to archived locationless/virtual cache page or some interesting images that happened to be on those pages. (Note: you have to be logged into geocaching.com in order to see any archived cache web page) ----------------------------------------------

The Elusive American Split Window Cache (locationless): (this was never approved) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?id=30023 **The year is 1963. The American icon is the Chevrolet Corvette Split Window. Give GPS reading of nearest town or crossroads. Supply a pic with the Split Window and you or you GPS also in the shot. One pic, One car per Geocacher, usual Virtual rules apply.**
Parade of Animals (Locationless):
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?id=24775
**This is another locationless cache. The trick: find a "parade
of animals" that a city is putting on.
Requirements:
- This must be a parade of animals where the local town
or city provides basic sculptures that
artists embelish with their own talents.
- Choose your own favorite animal from the parade.
- Take it's picture (not necessarily with the GPS).
- Post it's name and coordinates, and any explanation that you feel important.
- You can log multiple "parades", but only one animal per parade."**
Game Store Cache (Locationless): http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?id=24421 ** This is a virtual Cache. Since I'm a game designer by profession, I thought it would be fun to create a virtual cache which promoted my favorite hobby. To get credit for logging this cache you must locate a game store (any store which sells primarily games -- role-playing, board games, cards etc.) snap a picture and post it along with the coordinates. You can log it multiple times for multiple stores as long as you're the FIRST person to log it. Please post the store's hours as well.**
Kauffman Cache (Virtual, but silly) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?id=23982 ** You need to find the seat within Kaufmann Stadium that has "www.geocaching.com" written on the back of it. Email me the Section, Row & Seat numbers if you want to confirm you found the correct seat. If you want a hint you can look at the attached picture to see the view from the seat. The additional hint will give you the seat number if you need more help.
