I would love to try it once it is MUCH cooler. I hated driving past them and not stopping, but if we had tried to do them I know I would have ended up feeling worse than I already did. We spent Saturday with the Boy Scouts digging up quartz crystals and I got overheated then. So, if anybody would like to plan a trip with me in the fall let me know! I know what you mean about the heat though; I think it’s worse that here. Charlotte and I went down there last July 17th and did the Americana Hwy 70 Series (old 2 lane HW that parallels I-40) from Little Rock east to about 1/2 way to Memphis. We started at 7AM and finished about 2 and picked up 162 I think. But it was near 100 with absolutely no shade the whole time. I was never so tired from stopping and getting in and out of the car. It’s nice there in the fall though and some pretty areas. The external temp reading for the car got up to 121!!! YIKES! I ended up doing ONLY 3 caches. I was getting so sick from the heat. I would love to try and go back when it cools off. It was scheduled between Aug 5 and 10, but after the first couple of emails I never saw any more info. Rich
