Everyone subscribed to this newsgroup has to navigate through all the back-n-forth emails that make up the planning of a group hunt. Most of us aren't interested in its planning if we aren't going to participate (I know that sounds harsh, but it is true). While I completely understand this sentiment, it applies to almost every subject covered on this list. Whenever I see posts about PDS's or GSAK's or other stuff I don't have or understand, I am likely to just delete them or scan them briefly if I have time. But as soon as I get a PDA, I will be interested. I might think I'm not going to make a particular group hunt and I won't be interested in the details of planning. But then lo and behold, maybe I get some unexpected free time and suddenly I am interested. That's what I like about the list. There's a little bit of everything, and I can pick and choose, as my time and interest permits. I do like the idea (I think Nancy suggested it) that we should change subject lines more often to reflect twists and turns in the conversation.
