- I only met Jim once and only for a short time, at a Bluegrass event in Hannibal in 2004. Afterwards, I was looking forward to the next time our paths crossed because I really enjoyed our short, but pleasant exchange. I guess our next meeting will be in the hereafter. Hopefully, Jim will have some heavenly caches for us to find. Jim was opinionated and loved to talk about his geocaching adventures and technology. It is very possible you have seen one of his signature trade items; a 'smashed' penny. He made an impression on many of us that we won't forget. We were fortunate to share one of his hobbies.
