Well folks, It is just 3 short weeks until the 2003 SLAGA Spring Picnic. It
looks like the weather is warming up for us and things are looking grand.
At the Fall Picnic, we had 80 or more hungry geo-folks show up from far and
wide ready to party and hunt caches. If anyone has forgotten what when on,

I know the kids had a great time playing in the yard, and everyone had a
good time looking for caches and chowing down on the BBQ and a fine
selection of dishes that everybody brought in for the event. Two lucky
cachers won new GPSr's, several folks won gift certificates for goodies or
t shirts or many other cool geo things. I think, most everybody came away
happy.
The 2003 Fall Picnic is, from what I can tell, stacking up to be another

Elkie is the Master Picnic Planner and has everything firmly under
control. As soon as more details roll in, y'all will be the 1st to
know. "Straight from the planners notepad to your InBox."
So Y'all start conjuring up your best "secrete recipe" BBQ dish and get
ready to whip up a batch to bring along.
I am looking forward to seeing everybody again and hopefully, will be able
to spend more time chewing the fat with everybody a bit more this go-round.
