there are two possible scenarios.
either the electricity moved to the middle in the middle of your slide, or
the slide would've taken you to where the current was, even though you were
one slide to the right of it.

hth.

Subject: [GameTalk] suggestions and bug found in pipe2 blast chamber

Hi Raul
Let me explain to you why I think it would be nice if the toolbox randomizer
could include more time on the side scroller. Its not that I think there
isn't enough time on the side scroller. I agree with you, the time is
sufficient. I just thought it would be interesting if we could have more
variety of items in the toolboxes.
Something which happened to me: I was on level 14 and I only had 1 minute
left. Say for instance extra time on the bomb's clock was an item the
toolboxes could contain and I encountered a toolbox and I found extra time
then I could easily finish the game. But now since extra time is not an item
you can get in toolboxes I couldn't finish the game. The only times when I
couldn't complete the side scroller is if I wanted to search the trash
cans because on normal they count down 5 seconds before opening and that
sometimes causes me to be killed by time running out.
But I really don't have a problem with the time on the side scrollers. I
just thought it would be nice if the toolboxes could also contain extra time
on the side scroller and extra time on the clock, then it's a bigger variety
of items in the toolboxes.
These are only suggestions I make. My intention is not at all to expect
Justin to implement these suggestions immediately. I realize Justin has a
very busy schedule.
I'm sure he would welcome feedback from his customer.
I definitely encountered a bug in electricity levels. Raul, you have
explained to me clearly about the electricity, thanks. But I think there is
definitely a bug.
Let me tell you guys how I observe the electricity and water. As I'm sliding
from pipe to pipe, irregardless of whether I'm in an electricity or normal
pipe level, I start off either at the right or left side, fitting pipes. And
as I slide, I move over to the middle and then to the right. So as I slide I
hear the water in the middle of my stereo field and then I'm moving to the
right.
So now I'm in an electricity level. The current comes on at my left, then it
goes off at my left, it comes on in the middle and it goes off there and
comes on at my right.
Sometimes it happens that the electricity current comes on at my left, then
go to the middle and then come back to the left side again.
From level 7 onwards the current will come on and off on left, middle and
right whereas from levels 1 to 6 the current only comes on and off at the
left and right side.
Now the bug I have encountered and I made double sure of this. I'm busy
fitting pipes in an electricity level. As I'm sliding to the next pipe I
hear ouch. Now I listen clearly to the water and the current. The water is
on the left of my stereo field while the current comes on at the right. Now
it happens that I fit a pipe and I was killed by electricity. I was on the
left, so I slide over to the middle while the current came on at the right
side and I was killed.
If the water was coming down at the right side as well as the electricity
then its obvious that the electricity would kill me if I twist the pipe, but
I made double sure of this: I hear the water on the left and the current on
the right and I was killed when I slide to the middle.
Wait let me rephrase this. I'm at the start of the level: the voice says
electricity level.
I find the pipe, hammer It in, twist the valve. The moment I twist the valve
I hear ouch. Now as I'm busy finding and hammering the electricity is in the
left and I hear the water on the right. Now the moment I press an arrow key
to twist the valve the electricity came on at that same moment in the middle
and I was on the right, the water was coming on the right side and the
current coming on in the middle and I was killed.
I hope I explained this clearly, but it sounds to me as if I'm killed by
electricity although I'm not on the same side as the current.
It's not my intention to complain at all. Its only feedback. I enjoy the
game as it is, but I am sure that Justin would value my input.
