[GameTalk] problem playing pipe 2

Hi All
I have recently unlocked pipe 2 on my new laptop. I have a problem killing the
spiders. I can kill the 1st with function key 1 but then the rest of the
function keys don't seem to work.
I am using a vista laptop any suggestions welcome.
