For most of the games you do need a specific marker in front of the camera. The exception to this is the Maze game featured in the link I gave. This game uses motion flow technology developed at the HITLabNZ which simply uses the phones camera combined with motion tracking algroithms to determine the tilt or pan of the phone, and in the case of the maze game, this controls the movement of the ball through the maze. It's really cool stuff.

is there any resource material where can i read more about that. I really like to know the algorithm used to recognized and monitor the marker. Or maybe the motion tracking algorithm if it is available for the public :D
