I found it, one character in one text field in record 43 of 53. Doing a find
for that record makes my error page come up every time. Since I was using a
find-any it explains why it errored only about 1-in-50 pages.
I'm not sure what it is, it's invisible in FileMaker but when I copy and
paste into BBEdit it shows up as an upside-down RED question mark, even
without "show invisibles" selected. I'm not sure how to discover its value
yet.
Chris, I'm not sure how to get the character to you if you are interested.
Perhaps if I just save the one-line file in BBEdit and mail it directly?
Clearing and retyping the field fixed it.

Troy, mine was a find-all request. I just had to keep changing the found
set size until I zeroed in on the culprit.
