Hi,

the "cannot bind..." error shows that you are already running an
instance of fwgold which binds to the port.
Fwgold only binds to the specified port (btw what port have you
got in users.conf?) and only when started "with --mode server".

When started in server mode fwgold must be put in background,
it will continue to listen to the specified port. You do not have
to start fwgold server more than once.

In client mode instead, fwgold does not bind to any port and
therefore should never display the "cannot bind..." error.

When started in client mode, fwgold connects to the server, gets the
latest statistics, upgrades graphics and html (if instructed to do so)
end exists. You typically run fwgold client from crontab every 5 minutes.

Hope it helps,
Gianluca
