specialist field now accepts more than one word, the multiple alerts issue
should also be fixed. In order to see alerts on under the "alerts" tab you
need to first subscribe to a patient - we can change that if we need to.
Also added the select box for state selection on the add residents page. As
for the flu shot date issue the jquery is sending it to the database but
for some reason the database isn't saving it, not entirely sure why.
