[fsug-calicut] no sound

  i cant hear any sound except the logo sound in ubuntu
  all codecs are downloadd
  mp3s are playin.bt no sound outpt
  my sound device is fm801.its 5.1 sound card.
  via sound device is in the motherboard

  pls help me*
