Good thought! Well, there is something called gpsd, which is the gps daemon,
you can interface any compatible gps modules with your gnu/linux system.
gpsbabel and other gps navigation systems are right there in the repo. just
give a hit and see. Make sure you draw a clear line between what you do and
what we already have.
