Sirs,
Backup script is modified again to increase its functionality.
*server_ssh.sh
*The new backup.sh and auto_backup.sh will check the completeness of pg_dump
by searching for a line containing the word "*complet*e" in the last 10
lines of the pg_dump output.
If not found, (means pg_dump was not successfull due to database error) the
script will give an alert to inform System Administrator and rename the
backup file with a suffix "*corrupt*".
The new auto_backup.sh will create a *gzip file directely* (ie with out
creating a sql file first).
please run the attached script once in all servers. Ignore the errors while
running.(errors will not occur if you run the script as a part of final
configuration.
*rdb2
*New version of rdb (restore a database from a backup file in the form sql,
gz, bz2, zip) without unziping to a temporary location.
Please update your extra folder with the attached files.
*Icons for backup*
copy these png to the location /usr/share/pixmaps/
and set read permission to all.
