[fsug-calicut] FOSS Workshop at Kuttiady

A FOSS Workshop was conducted at Panchaayath Samskarika Nilayam Kuttiady on
25/10/2009. some FSUG Calicut mebers who offered to attend the event were
unable to attend the meeting as it was the closing day of Thathwa'09.
The event was organized by M/s Dyna Digitals, a Hardware vendor. Around 70
persons - school teachers, students, hardware technicians etc- attended the
interactive session on Free Software.Officials of Dyna said that they are
installing GNU/Linux on all the new computers they sell.
They are now planning to conduct a full day sessionon FOSS and to start a
FOSS group as suggested by the attendees of the program.
