Dear EC members,
Thanks for appreciating the work on generating social media design
templates/boiler plates, to enable anyone in ec to use it for any listed
purpose.
I am also constantly updating the wiki, to make it more readable using
pictorial, tabular representations without compromising the power offered by
descriptive text.
Anyone who have visited the latest version must have noticed the changes I have
done. I can understand that everyone is busy with some work, but wiki is
supposed to be a constant collaborative authorship generated document, so that
it stays inclusive without compromising the goal and vision of fshm itself.
Also since i like making wikis more readable, I am daily making changes with
schedule. On that line I think concept of learning path ways and reading
groups can be mixed to get a more referable, active participator peer self
education, so that the language we speak have better probability to communicate
with others in community and to publics.
Since not all seniors, mentors, elmers are available all the time for guidance,
I think historical learning can be made available as a guiding path for self
education. Then wiki becomes more than wiki.
Learning pathways are practical ways to learn broadly and deeply about a
phenomenon or issue. ... for instance one wishes to learn how social media,
surveillance works in society they had to learn a lot from books,
documentaries, papers, movies etc... one learning pathway is itself a
intersection of several learning materials sequentially arranged to bring a
broad understanding. The movies in the topic would be :

7. Social dilemma
8. Great hack
9. revolution os
10. Tpb afk
11. Nature of self in digital age
12. Century of the self
But how should ec weave the sequence and make a fabric of learning pathway? ???
And how many learning pathways we can generate. ..
And different learning pathways will.give a even broader political and
philosophical understaning in a intersectional view.
I believe I am borrowing some of the key ideas or emergently landing in a
common ground which Kamal has the long term vision for.
I am doing and interested in doing all this because I love the community spirit
and wanted to make it stronger by building the ability to sense the right wing
and neoliberal forces, and recommend such critical education so that such
forces can be weeded out from the minds of individuals who come and become one
as volunteers with us.
We all know what kind of toxic political scenario we are living in.
Please start to discuss on such constructive topics in weekend meetup. I will
try my best participate. Even if I cant my participation will be reflected in
such actions.
