I noticed the Ecartis welcome e-mail when I subscribed to this list. I
used Ecartis 15 years ago, it's an outstandingly optimized mailing list
manager. Sadly, it seems unmaintained since 2010.
Mailman is much more adopted nowadays. In case some day I go bankrupt, it
would be very easy to hand over the whole mailing list to somebody else
hosting mailman lists. This way we could ensure non-disruptive continuity
at list on the mailing list.
Point out that I only received one mail directly (I remember I said that
if someone didn't want to express it through the list, he could write
directly to me because I was the person who was moving the mail to the
list). He expresses a reservation about the domain name, pointing out that
"fsforce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <fsforce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> is longer and less
attractive as a name than the current "fsforce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx"
<fsforce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>. Since you point out that an email with the
domain name fsforce.org is possible, I wanted to ask you if the same is
possible with respect to the list (something like list@xxxxxxxxxxx).
list@xxxxxxxxxxx is possible. No problem at all.
I admit I am in a bit of a hurry to ask you, considering the great offer
you are making and the inconvenience you are taking on it.

Anotar, para que nadie se confunda, que por pura coherencia esta lista de
correo actual funciona mediante software libre, pero no Mailman, y Mailman
es mejor software que el actual (ecartis).
Me di cuenta que el manejador esa Exartis cuando recibí el correo de
confirmación. Ecartis es un manejador de listas excepcionalmente
optimizado, lo usé hace como 15 años pero parece estar fuera de
mantenimiento desde 2010.
Mailman es un manejador de listas mucho más adoptado. En caso de que algún
día yo quede fuera del negocio, sería muy fácil pasarle la lista completa a
cualquier otra persona que tenga un Mailman y pueda seguir adelante con el
servicio. De esta manera podríamos asegurar la continuidad por lo menos en
la lista de correo.
Señalar que solo recibí un único correo directamente (recuerdo que dije
que si alguien no quería expresarlo por la lista, podía escribirme
directamente a mi por ser yo la persona que estaba trasladando el correo a
la lista). Él expresa su reserva acerca del nombre de dominio, señalando
que "fsforce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <fsforce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> es más largo y menos
atractivo como nombre que el actual "fsforce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx"
<fsforce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>. Dado que tú señalas que es posible un correo con
el nombre de dominio fsforce.org, quería preguntarte si es posible lo
mismo respecto a la lista (algo tipo list@xxxxxxxxxxx).
Ningún problema con list@fsforce. Es completamente posible.
Reconozco que me da un poco de apuro pedírtelo, considerando el gran
ofrecimiento que realizas y las molestias que te estás tomando al respecto.
