try going into the archives and looking for that post, or just start = experimenting with pad sounds. you can get sampled pads from cds or you = can get a synth that generates the pads. if they are generated you have = more control over them. you can keep a constant note programmed and use = things like filters and "Q" to alter the sound throughout the song. you = can also progressively change the pitch of the note to keep it = interesting. try playing with the ADSR to changeup the actual sound = itself. you can get good pad sounds from some free synths like "Cheese = Machine" or "FreeAlpha". Try those. You can also find other free ones = at www.kvr-vst.com. hope that helps out. The sound i need is really a pad thing. = Sometime ago, somebody in the list, im not sure if you did or Gwydion = did,=20 Put a message about "interesting way to use patterns" and there was a = fruity=20 file for download there. That kind of thing is what i want. Its a = synth=20 thing that goes thru all the patterns in a project. It looks like = arpegiator=20 stuff. >From: Andrew Ebling <andyebling@xxxxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: fruityloops@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: fruityloops@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: [fruityloops] Re: constant synth sound >Date: 07 Oct 2002 12:57:24 +0000 > > >On Mon, 2002-10-07 at 11:05, patrick bco wrote: > > > yes, i m trying to put some atmosphere into a song. you said pads = are=20 >sound that you just can hear. > > > > What are the sounds that you can do more than hear? > >Ah, that will be the sub bass.
