Yes I agree.  In some ways it is a strange mix, being a good "bread and
butter" wave editor, yet having bizarre features like the brainwave
stuff.

Its batch processing capability brings it into a league of its own, came
in handy when I was working on a project that involved hand editing of
the order of 200,000 audio files.

I've been using it since the days when it _was_ the wave editor for
windows, back when it was a hobby for Dave Johnston. :)
