4. There were 22 inventors prior to Edison inventing the incandescent
light bulb.
5. Paul Revere did NOT yell "The British are coming"

Concerned they were forgetting things and it was suggested to them to write
things down. Wife wanted ice cream. Husband went to get ice cream. Wife
said to write it down. Husband said he would remember. Wife wanted a
cherry on her ice cream and told husband to write it down. Husband said he
would remember. Wife wanted whip cream too, write it down. Husband said
he would remember. Later husband brings back eggs and bacon. Wife ways
"Hey, wait a minute. . . you forgot my toast".
Inspiration: Ray Pezolt. At age 17 she was rejected from college. Age
25 her mother died. Age 26 Married, abusive husband, daughter was born.
Age 28 Divorce. Age 29 on welfare. Age 30 thought of suicide. Age 31
Wrote 1st book. her name is JK Rowlings. Never give up. It's never too
late to start.

Trickle of urine. Admitted to ER. Placed on antibiotics. 2nd antibiotic
also no effect. Fever rising. Dr. Gathered together, called the Center of
Disease Control. Called wife, tomorrow may be his last day. Two months in
and out of hospital. Three life lessons. 1. Compassion. 2. Difference
between suffering and pain. God, why have you forsaken me? 3. Wrote a
book. Got out of the hospital, oath to self to write a book. What's
knocking at your door? Don't wait until it's too late.
Speaker #2. Katelynn Stoll
What is the one job from the past that stands out? For me it's the Well
County Health Department working as an intern. Job was to catch and trap
mosquitoes for the sole purpose of identification. To trap all mosquitoes,
hang a net. Light, a fan and dry ice. By next day, a net full of live
mosquitoes. To trap breeding mosquitoes, manure, water. Swampy moist
area. Learn 1. Different species of mosquitoes. 2. How to avoid being
eaten alive by mosquitoes. Three diseases transmitted by mosquitoes. 1.
Malaria. 2. West Nial virus. and 3. Zika virus. Katelynn's favorite
mosquito is the Culex Tarsalis.

Sheep in a tree. Sheep are stupid. How stupid are sheep? They are a
little smarter than a fence post. Some will give a nod to the fence post
for being smarter. There is a lead sheep where others will follow the lead
sheep anywhere. Did not reckon on stupidity of sheep. Sheep smelled cat.
Sheep run away. Sheep all run after the leader. Between barn and fence
there's an eight foot tree with low branches. Sheep runs past tree to
fence. Lead sheep turns around and runs to barn. Sheep all follow but
lead sheep is running into all the trailing sheep and they head into each
other. Pot of boiling sheep. Air borne sheep lands on bottom branch of
tree. Sheep in a tree.

Earlier in the meeting we were all told to write down on a piece of paper
something that no one knows about us. Plenty of secrets.
1. Bill Farrand. I worked in a gold mine. Bill guessed Adam Vesley.
Pick over shoulder. Canary, bad gasses. Canary dies, you gotta get out of
here.
2. Robin McIntosh. Employed by CVI. I'm embarrassed to say it's me.
Originally CVI was called the Colorado Bureau of finding stuff out. No
longer employed there. Took pink slip and went home.
3. Luis Estrada. I get angry. Luis guessed Dirk. Always so happy.
4. Adam Vesely. Fix things mechanically. Drove up in milk crates, rubber
bands, solar lpanels. Fixed clock in the back room. Fixed squeaky table.
Adam guessed Dirk.
5. Alan Wong. Grown man collects barbie dolls. My son when he was young
was very fond of a small black barbie doll. I suspect he has a closet full
of unopened boxes of barbie collectibles. I guessed Bill.
6. Richa Acharya. I was an extreme introvert as a child. Friends changed
me. Friend in Denmark. Same size, same height. If she can do it, I can
do it too. To tell people whats on my mind.
7. Patti Apple. Rode Pirates of the Caribbean ride three times in a
roll. No motion sickness. No spinning rides. Daughter, patch to make her
normal. Advice, don't ride it three times.
8. Jennifer Dunne. Details. Short story, novel. Place holder. Someone
with a really good story, very detailed. Complex, unexpected features.

Round Robin for Jonathan Kolber. Well organized. Better details.
Buckle belt. Have a better opening make it catchy. Polished feel. Chest
breathing. Modified speech much improved. Not letting time affect speech.
Dirk Kittredge evaluated Katelynn Stoll. Done well. I like this manual.
Liked how sources were sited. Talking by looking above audience. Improve
by catching audience in the eye and then moving to somebody else. Locked
T-Rex arms. Overall speech taught us something new. Speech well
organized. Species to disease to species.
Shirley Eaves evaluated Jennifer Dunne. Set up story so well. Great
title, cleaver title. Expertise of the English language. Describes event
where it took place. Oracle power of lead sheep. Painting picture of
barnyard, fence, tree. Great use of hands. Golden nugget phrase was fence
bound, barn bound, ground bound. Improve by using space better. Eye
contact. Excellent story. ( and yes, Jennifer Dunne continues to ROCK
ON).
Grammarian report by Adam Vesely. Sheep is singular and plural. The
plural of sheep is also sheep. On Patti Apple motion sickness disease is
just motion sickness. On Luis Estrada. "everyone has a dark side".

This is my favorite role because there is no accountability. GE does not
get evaluated. Meeting started 7:02pm. Good positive feedback on all
evaluators. Break was from 7;52 to 8:03. Enjoyed the theme. Good amount
of content. Ray, good job stepping in as inspirator. table topics was
fun. Mysterious paper. Creative and appropriate. Good job Phil.
Reminder. Dues are due today.
The meeting had 17 people in attendance. 16 members and one guest. All
the speeches were excellent. Table topics was very creative and fun. Good
job Phil. Ray's theme was well put together, educational, and
entertaining.
