Subject: FRTM - Gesture Master
Greetings Fellow Toastmasters,
This Thursday on 20 April, a new role will be introduced. The new role is
Gesture Master. Dirk Kittredge will be the evaluator. Dirk will also explain
the role in more detail during the meeting. We will all vote for the best
Gesture Master and a prize will be given at the end of the meeting. We will
have best speech, best evaluator, best table topics and a best gesture master.
This will add new meaning to the phrase "Talk to the hand". The new phrase to
think about will be "Talk with the hand".
The definition of Gesture. 1. A movement of part of the
body, especially a hand or the head, to express an idea or meaning. 2.
The use of such movements to express thought, emotion. 3. Any action,
courtesy, communication intended for effect or as a formality,
considered expression.
Enjoy the day. Happy Sunday everybody.
