Personal note... as you all know, I was laid off two weeks ago and they took
the
laptop I was using. Combined with the holidays, I messed up and did not
realize that our last schedule had elapsed. Therefore, to deal with the meeting
in four days, we will have a grab bag meeting. We will draw names at random
for all meeting roles. Those people who have given less than five speeches
will have the option that if they are drawn as a speaker, can decline.
(Come prepared to be a speaker my friends. We will have two slots.)
This is a creative format and everyone will learn from the spontaneous issues
that arise from this fun adventure.
Also, please bring your leadership and speaking manuals as the outgoing EVP need
to sign some manuals on Thursday.
It's been fun being your EVP and I look forward to my dedication to the club
in my new role, VP of Membership!
