We had a quorum (13 members attended) and all candidates spoke or had someone
speak on their behalf. Jason promises a car in every garage and a double
rebate on your dues. (That's what happens when Dirk speaks on your behalf.)
Alan spoke eloquently on behalf of Robin and had us believing that Robin could
do it all. Jonathan and Luis really stood out as they delivered their
candidate speeches ... each man promised to raise the bar in each of their
roles and ensured us that they will both do their very best. Savanna has all
her bases covered as VPE because she knows it's a great fit and she has the
best mentor ever! Jennifer is all about vision and ensuring FRTM is the beacon
for other Toastmasters Clubs.
Needless to say FRTM is once again in great hands and the future is BRIGHT.
I have to say that Savanna really upped the creativity with Table Topics the
previous week. Jennifer truly rose to the challenge this week! I have the
photos to prove how big the dice were and how much fun they were to throw so
that you ended up with a challenging question.
I will leave you with the best of the best ...
Jeff Stoll had to extoll upon his best pet. Jeff is not proud of his pet
history, 13 guinea pigs that led to guinea pig hotel and over-crowding.
Katelynn had to tell us about her last pet ... the psychotic cat she couldn't
say no to. Pets are a bit iffy in the Stoll family. We laughed our behinds
off and had tons of fun tossing the dice. We had Lori expound on how tough it
was to remember your first movie and Jennifer's worst trip that had her family
sleeping in Sleepy Time Motel. Fun Times at FRTM!
