question.... when you got a grant for a $1000 and the exchange rate was
4.0, and then the rate when to 4.20, did you give the foundation back the
"profit" you made?
another: does your organization keep foreign currency in foreign currency
or immediately convert it to shekels? if you are keeping money in foreign
currency, it is as if you are playing the market, and most donors would not
want that to happen with their donation.
be aware that many foundations understand the exchange rate issues, and
will give a higher grant but only at the time of the request. not after
6-12 months when you "lost" money on the exchange rate.
i personally recommend to always request funds in the shekel amount and
then let the donor know what the current exchange rate is and that it is
subject to change.

yes, some economists say this tax plan is bad. but some say it is great.

facts, we will have a much better picture as to what is happening.
out of curiosity, how many people fee that money is starting to become
easier over the last 6 months, than in the previous 6 years?
