*Writer/ Development Coordinator *
for educational institute in the Lower Galilee
75% time position
The Writer/ Development Coordinator will work as part of the Institute’s
fundraising team, reporting to the V.P. for Resource Development. The job
includes:
-Writing grants, reports, and marketing materials in English, with some
translation from Hebrew
-Assisting with outreach to donors – correspondence and follow-up;
e-newsletters
-Researching foundations, potential donors
-Logistical and content support for public relations
-Assisting with visiting groups – logistics and presentations
-Maintaining the donor and visitor databases
Requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills (mother tongue) – written and
oral
- Fluent in spoken Hebrew, with the ability to translate from Hebrew
into English
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
- Research ability – foundations, individual donors
- Personal affinity for programs that promote democracy and diversity
- Good interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and
productively, while also part of a small collaborative team
