Unlike the other recommendations here, I have yet to meet Avi to the best
of my knowledge, yet we once had an exchange of emails following something
that was posted on this list, and that is my basis for recommending him. He
was helpful, made critical comments and provided professional insights -
just because I asked. Certainly, if I hear of anything appropriate, I will
let you know. There are a number of FB groups that post positions that
might interest you. There is משרות עילאיות or something like that, and a
group for משרות חברתיות ומגזר שלישי, etc....

I second Elliott's words. For the past 10 years, I have seen Avi every
morning starting at 5:30 am and I can tell you there isn't a more dedicated

I just wanted to give an endorsement to those of you haven't had the
chance to meet Avi Silverman. I've known Avi on a professional basis and as
a good friend for close to 25 years or more (I can't believe it's been that
long). Avi has to be one of the most creative and inspirational educators
that I have ever met. He has excellent management skills and even more
importantly is just a wonderful person who seems to be able to connect with
people of all different backgrounds and persuasions. He is dedicated and
driven, but more importantly a great guy who has really good people skills.
A really great guy to work with and have on your team. I wish him much
hatzlacha as well as the lucky organization that makes him part of their
team.
