[freeroleplay] Techniques

It's been quite here recently, so a little something for people to rip
into and comment on.

Techniques are something I've added to Yags in the last few months,
and have pretty much neared completion on their implementation. If
you think "D20 feats" you won't be far wrong, though they're actually
based on GURPS manoeuvres (interestingly, GURPS 4th Edition is going
to rename manoeuvres to techniques).

Techniques make a skill less one dimensional, and also tie a number
of skills together. For instance, 'Ground fighting' gives a bonus
to combat skills, but is based on 'Athletics'. 'Mounted combat' is
based on 'Ride'.

Also listed on the above page are some Bardic techniques, which are
more mystical in nature than the straight combat techniques (these
haven't been fully fleshed out yet).

Techniques are also taught by various religious cults. These techniques
are often somewhat magical, and can only be learnt by a priest of the
