The Debian Group have made several attempts to sway the FSF against 
using Invariant Sections in the up-coming 1.2 version of the FDL. 
However, the FSF have been far from receptive to the suggested 
alterations. Please see my last email for links to discussions about the 
FDL. Please note, due to a recent crack the Debian lists server is down, 
but cached versions of the discussion can be found in Google.

I agree that a lot of pressure has already been brought to bear, but 
every little helps. I don't think anything will come of writing a letter 
to the FSF, but it is always worth a try.
