I found this years ago, then lost it and was unable to find it despite numerous searches. I managed to find it again this morning, and since some people were interested in equipment lists, I thought I'd post it here. It's a list of prices and costs for things in Anglo Saxon England and Viking age Europe. It's not that extensive, but it does give a good idea of how prices varied from place to place (cost of swords varied by as much as twenty-fold between central Europe and Britain). There's also some good fines listed for criminal acts, including such things as "Binding an innocent ceorl and shaving him like a priest". http://www.regia.org/costs.htm -- Be seeing you, --------------------------- Sam. http://www.glendale.org.uk/
