  Hi Mark -

This is a relatively common problem with e-lists. The simplest,
most direct way to solve it is for the receiver to scan through
the email headers at the top of a posting and to extract the various
e-addresses listed therein. It of course requires an email client
software that allows viewing of `full headers.' Buried somewhere
within the header lines should be the exact address that the person
  subscribed under.

Typical issues are with school addresses. <j.doe@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
may actually be <john_q_doe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, and J Doe might
not even be aware of the exact address that has been listed.

  Hope this helps.
  Richard
