[freelists-users] attachment symptoms

Freelists recommends against allowing attachments, but a list can be
configured to pass them anyway. Does anyone know what specific problem
symptoms might appear? I configured a list to allow attachments, and the
only symptom so far is that posts with attachments went to some, but not
all users (about 20 users total). Some did not receive the posts at all. Is
this how it fails when attachments are passed through, or do I have some
other problem?
