The shift should happen pretty closely to the date switchover according to 
the time on the server itself.  Oddities are most likely due to 
differences in server times and when the date gets put into the mail 
headers, etc.  Basically, don't believe the date/time that you see in the 
post in the archive beyond a few hours.
