Basically, all that counts to the Listar is what > falls between the "modpost" line and the "eompost" line at the bottom. I tried it again, just after my previous message. (I had a list member post a reply to an 60 line message with 5 line comment, which triggered moderation...) I trimmed the quoted text and then used "modpost". This was between the "modpost" and the "eompost" lines. Here is the section of the message that I sent (from my outbox, but accessed via emacs to avoid my E-mail software, E-mail addresses have been changed so they don't appear in the web archives): Date: Sat, 6 Oct 2001 18:46:13 -0700 From: Paul Dickson <d@xxxxxxx> To: az-observing-repost@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Fw: Message submitted to 'az-observing' Message-Id: <20011006184613.5c95d3c0.dickson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> X-Mailer: Sylpheed version 0.6.0 (GTK+ 1.2.9; i586-pc-linux-gnu) Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Begin forwarded message: Date: Sat, 06 Oct 2001 20:30:56 -0500 (EST) From: FreeLists Mailing List Manager <listar@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: az-observing-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Message submitted to 'az-observing' This message was received for a list you are a moderator on, and was marked for moderation due to the following reason: Overquoting: 58 lines quoted in a block (30 max allowed) To approve this message and have it go out on the list, forward this to az-observing-repost@xxxxxxxxxxxxx If you wish to decline the post, change the 'apppost' below to 'delpost'. If you wish to edit the post, change it to 'modpost' and edit the message as needed - not all mail programs will work with modpost. DO NOT DELETE THE FOLLOWING LINE.
