I tried it again, just after my previous message. (I had a list member
post a reply to an 60 line message with 5 line comment, which
triggered moderation...) I trimmed the quoted text and then used
"modpost".

This was between the "modpost" and the "eompost" lines.

Here is the section of the message that I sent (from my outbox, but
accessed via emacs to avoid my E-mail software, E-mail addresses have
been changed so they don't appear in the web archives):

This message was received for a list you are a moderator on, and
was marked for moderation due to the following reason:
Overquoting: 58 lines quoted in a block (30 max allowed)

To approve this message and have it go out on the list, forward this to
    az-observing-repost@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

If you wish to decline the post, change the 'apppost' below to 'delpost'.
If you wish to edit the post, change it to 'modpost' and edit the message
as needed - not all mail programs will work with modpost.

DO NOT DELETE THE FOLLOWING LINE. Listar needs it.

So this leaves the question: Is the F being stripped at my end or is
Listar doing this?

Has anyone else used "modpost" moderated messages successfully
recently?
