I received a few emails about sparse troubles resolving "www.freelists.org," but those people had no trouble accessing "freelists.org." This was just about the middle of last week. Since I only heard from two people, and seeing this as an obvious DNS issue, I shrugged it off as "one of those things that'll be ok in 24 hours." For most people, it was just that, but it turns out that there really was a recurring DNS issue involving granitecanyon.com's DNS's. I don't know what was wrong with them, and I honestly don't really want to-- they were just a backup to register.com's DNS setup anyway (they provide it for free for anyone who registers with them). So ns1 and ns2 .granitcanyon.com are no longer authoritative, and within a couple of days, no one should be seeing these "unable to resolve" problems. If you do, please let me know. :) And to anyone looking to buy a domain name, I do recommend register.com -- they're a little more expensive than some, but providing permanent authoritative primary and secondary DNS for you is a very nice touch.
