See, the idea of using Yahoo groups just doesn't appeal to me or many of
the other folks on this list. Personally, I host my own archives,
because that's what I've been doing up until I joined freelists anyway.
I subscribe a single email address that collects all the emails in mbox
format, then I run mhonarc on the mbox file via a cron job. To keep the
indexes usable, I have to make a new mbox file every month, but that's
relatively minor.

Of course, not everyone has the resources/knowledge to do this. :-)
