See, the idea of using Yahoo groups just doesn't appeal to me or many of the other folks on this list. Personally, I host my own archives, because that's what I've been doing up until I joined freelists anyway. I subscribe a single email address that collects all the emails in mbox format, then I run mhonarc on the mbox file via a cron job. To keep the indexes usable, I have to make a new mbox file every month, but that's relatively minor. Of course, not everyone has the resources/knowledge to do this. :-) - -- PhoneBoy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAj0hYAEACgkQCdClwVl/XSqeHwCg+q0HcshKGfjUREVMW7bF4pl7 sd4AoOhlVW8ZQ1tS21GqVAHp2v+PeGyj =Gxl9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- =========================================================== The FreeLists-Users mailing list Archives: //www.freelists.org/archives/freelists-users Administrative contact: weez@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ===========================================================
