thanks, I'll check everything out. I will probably at some point create
some sort of software for myself to help me generate TEI as I go, but until
then I have no problem doing it by hand.
Regarding GitHub - my username is *Grimpy101*. I have already created the
document with 494 entries as of now (I combined some sources, and the hard
copy I have really speeds up the process). I would really appreciate any
feedback on its format, so I can fix things while the size of it all is
still small.

Thanks, that's good. At least no efforts are doubled.
I do have a hard copy of an English-Slovenian dictionary that will help me

As for programming, I've used XML before and know something about coding,
so hopefully there won't be any problems on that front.
Great news. So you probably have an editor of your choice and know how to
make
writing XML efficient for you. If you are really writing the dictionary by
hand, it might useful to have a custom format that you transform to TEI,
because at least I sometimes find the overhead of typing of TEI cumbersome.
For lat-deu, I came up with this:
