Got an interesting old pen (fairly cheaply) on E-Bay, last week. It's blue
and black marbled, probably casein.
Labled "The College Pen"

56, Butts, Coventry
Perpendicular to this is "Made in England"
Any of our English friends have any idea who made pens for this shop?
Came in a "Platignum" box but I doubt it's a Platignum. Has a warranted
gold nib and the Platignums I've seen with gold nibs had screw in sections.
This is the ordinary press fit.
