We have seen this message before. I'm not sure what causes it to
happen but in our case, rebooting the AW cleared the problem. I don't =
know
if you have other critical applications running on the AW but that =
would be
the first thing I would try. Hope it helps.

Hi everyone.

I have a platform that has a AW50 system running a CP30. When trying to
connect to the CP from the ICC application, I get the following error
message.

Communication to CPXXXX
failed
Press continue to proceed

And then the message:

ecu_ or uc_open
failed
Press continue to proceed
=20
The CP unit is working properly, the problem is that I can't connect to =
it
by using the ICC. This a terrible probelm because I need to have access =
to
the CP's database. =20

Does anyone know something I can do to solve this problem?
