The CAR was closed with the following answer: Running these utilities from the I/A remote Display Manager is not supported. a workaround for this issue: If you want to use apitst, follow these steps: 1. From the Remote Display Manager, open a command prompt. 2. Change to korn shell (d: à ncenv à sh) 3. Change to the /opt/aim/bin directory. 4. Start another instance of the apimgr process, type: startp /b apimgr 5. Now, you can use apitst from the Remote Display Manager. If you want to use foxtst, follow these steps: 1. From the Remote Display Manager, open a command prompt. 2. Change to korn shell (d: à ncenv à sh) 3. Change to the /opt/fox/ais/bin directory. 4. Start another instance of the foxapi process, type: startp /b foxapi 5. Now, you can use foxtst from the Remote Display Manager The above procedures assume that AIM*API or FoxAPI is running on the Server 70. Can someone please explain to me why I have to run /opt/aim/bin/startapi before I can run apitst from a remote desktop session even though all aim api apps are already running. They start from boot you see. Microsoft Windows [Version 5.2.3790] (C) Copyright 1985-2003 Microsoft Corp.
