You can link the CIN of one block to the INHIB parameter of the new block, and
the CIN of the other block to the new block's IN input, and configure the state
alarm as appropriate. So for example CIN1.CIN links to CIN3 (new block).IN, and
CIN2.CIN links to CIN3.INHIB. With CIN3.SAO set, this will generate a state
alarm only when CIN1.CIN is true and CIN2.CIN is false.
If you don't need to alarm on the independent states of the existing blocks,
you could do without the new CIN: CIN2.CIN links to CIN1.INHIB.

Hello dear list readers, I should generate an alarm (with one new CIN
block) if one CIN block is TRUE AND another CIN is FALSE. It is easy to do ina
CALCA (AND BI01 BI02; OUT BO01). Is there another way to generate this?
Not using a CALC, CALCA, LOGIC block? I am asking because in one system I
have a lot of such CALCAS and this is getting resource hungry. best
