Hi Maria,

Without knowing exactly what you are trying to do, here is a quick and dirty
solution:

Connect the output from the FALSE CIN to the alarm inhibit of the TRUE CIN.

That way, if the FALSE CIN is actually TRUE, then you will not get an alarm
from the TRUE CIN.

When the FALSE CIN then goes false, the TRUE CIN will then generate an alarm.

Of course, this might break any other alarming you need. As I said, very Q&D!

Hello dear list readers,   I should generate an alarm (with one new CIN
block) if one CIN block is TRUE AND another CIN is FALSE. It is easy to do
ina CALCA (AND BI01 BI02; OUT BO01). Is there another way to generate this?
Not using a CALC, CALCA, LOGIC block? I am asking because in one system I
have a lot of such CALCAS and this is getting resource hungry.   best
