I was able to get it working by using several intermediate scripts: 1. In your pull-down menu for SftMnt, add an entry similar to the following: "Command Prompt" /opt/fox/env/cmd 2. Create /opt/fox/env/cmd as a text file with the contents: dmcmd script run /opt/fox/env/cmd.cmd 3. Create /opt/fox/env/cmd.cmd as a text file with the contents: start cmd.exe I took that from the way access to the shell prompt was done here. Similarly (except for a more involved last step), if you want to have access to the shell prompt, do the following: 1. In your pull-down menu for SftMnt, add an entry similar to the following: "NutCracker_Shell" /opt/fox/env/vt100 2. Create /opt/fox/env/vt100 as a text file with the contents: dmcmd script run /opt/fox/env/shell.cmd 3. Create /opt/fox/env/shell.cmd as a text file with the contents: start cmd.exe /t:0E /K "d:\nutc\bin\ncenv.cmd & %SHELL%" Thanks, Philip Pulas Tesoro Golden Eagle Refinery Martinez, CA -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Brazell, Troy L Jr Sent: Monday, October 08, 2007 2:10 PM To: Foxboro User Group Foxboro User Group Subject: [foxboro] Windows Question Content-Type: text/plain; charset=3D"us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable =3D20 Okay my guru friends, I am currently staging a XP system to replace a UNIX (Dog Box) system. In a effort to secure the machines from operator I have locked them down as per Foxboro's documentation. Now, I need for the techs to be able to, from their environment access IACC (I was able to add that one to the Config menu) and the command prompt. As I said adding the IACC wasn't much of a challenge, but adding the command prompt to the SftMnt pull down is causing me a slight pain in the backside. I tried duplicating the "Explorer" scripting with no success. I'm sure that someone has done this and I would really like to hear from you.
