One more issue to consider with "Off mesh" galaxy and components and
future use.
According to release notes for Infusion 2.0, IA 8.5 Security enhanced,
requires that the primary domain controller be located "on the mesh", thus
8.5 SE will not directly support off mesh galaxy topology's. Same holds
true for Historian.
Notes goes on to say though that there is a "custom" solution available
from IOM security consulting team. With as many customers, and systems
that have been advised to implement Off mesh topology's, I think what
ever "custom" solution that is being offer, needs to be rolled up the
install process and not offered separately through consulting. Too many
times i have seen this type of "custom solution" to be a euphemisms for
"expensive' and or "ill conceived Beta-ware".

Can someone from Foxboro please comment on and describe the setup and
configuration of a 8.5SE / 2.0 infusion system with Off Mesh galaxy
components and PDC?
