1. You may want to look at the getpars utility, located in
/opt/fox/bin/tools. It can list the parameters you are looking for. You
can get information on how to use getpars in the getpars.man page. You can
even use wildcards for the CP name. Unlike the iccapi (iccprt and
iccdrvr.tsk), getpars works even if the control configurator is open.

2. I do not think that the iccdrvr.tsk will allow wildcards for opening a
CP, but you can build a simple unix script to automatically call the iccprt
utility for each CP.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [foxboro] Compound:Block,Type

Does anyone have or know of a way to retrieve the Compound name, Block
name
and Block type. I can do it using the iccdrvr.tsk but I have over 20
overloaded
cp's on a single node and 3 similar nodes. Is there a way to use a
wild
card in iccdrvr.tsk for the cp name?
        Thanks,
