Hi Barry,
The words in capitals are the important ones in cable tests.
so //CBL TEST Ignored: bbAW02 -> xxCPyy
ready,pnd_test,crs_high_cnt,crs_timer,crs_high,no_cable,TEST_I/P,TIMER//
The above message means the cable test was ignored because a cable test was in
Progress (TEST_In/Progress).
The TL Request type (transport layer) because a retry counter has been breached.

We have a site that has a particular CP that seems to be the target of a
large number of Transport Level Cable Test requests ...
We get the following typical type of activity being logged at very high
frequency. Is there any cause for me to be concerned?

//CBL TEST Ignored: bbAW02 -> xxCPyy
ready,pnd_test,crs_high_cnt,crs_timer,crs_high,no_cable,TEST_I/P,TIMER//
//CBL TEST Ignored: ccAW01 -> xxCPyy
ready,pnd_test,crs_high_cnt,crs_timer,crs_high,no_cable,TEST_I/P,TIMER//
//CBL TEST Ignored: (etc.) ..../
1. Can anyone shed any light on what these messages are telling me?
2. Is the 'CBL TEST Ignored:' a good message or a bad message?
3. Does anyone have a list of the messages reported in smon.log,
nfd.log and nfd_debug.log and what they mean?
