For the Datalink response,

We have customers with similar requests (to sort by Compund or Block). We
ended up dumping the Operation Actions (Process and System Alarms too) into
an Excel Worksheet, like I/A Report Package, and then we perform automated
Excel functions, like grouping by tag (C:B.P) and totalizing the alarms for
each tag, sorted by quantity.

One customer wanted to use it to identify nuisance alarms. Others use it for
upset analysis (a crude Sequence of Events tool). We're able to filter on
individual WP's or AW's for Operator Actions or Process Areas via Compound
prefix,for Alarms.

And like I/A Report Package, we're using Opalis to schedule
daily/shift/weekly/monthly reports. If you're interested, contact us and
reference the "Alarm Extractor".

Subject: [foxboro] CAD form, OperAction journal form, AHIST form

Hi all,
I have got a problem with the display form of Current Alarms, Historian
Alarms and form of Operator Action journal.
Could anyone tell me how I can change a fields of rows of OperAction
messages. For example,
our customer want to get the following format of OperAction messages row -
"<data><time><block><description><parameter><value befor change><value after
change><eng unit><compaund>"
the following format of CAD messages row -
"<time><block><dtscription><alarm text><set point><eng unit><current
value><state><priority><compaund>"
the following format of AHIST messages row -
"<state><data><time><block><description><alarm text><set point><eng
unit><current value><priority><compaund>"
And could enyone tell me how get the opraction messages from DataLink sorted
by BlockName, but not by time as presentet now?
Thank you all
